I'm Laura

I built a career in the corporate world that many would envy; six figures, leadership roles, moving cities for promotions and company funded travel. I did everything “right” and yet, I constantly felt like I needed to do more. Like many ambitious women, I lived with imposter syndrome constantly buzzing around inside my head. I feared that any slip up, a missed deadline, a tired day, a moment of uncertainty, a show of vulnerability, would be taken as proof that I wasn’t cut out for the job. That I was “too emotional” or that I'd be found out as someone who shouldn't be there. Beneath the surface, I was burning myself out by the immense pressure I was putting on myself to succeed. I felt unseen, misunderstood, and exhausted, not just by the workload, but by a world that refused to take my struggles seriously because I didn’t have children.

Women are expected to outperform the men in the office, prove our worth ten times over for the same opportunities, and smile while doing it. Eventually, the pressure caught up with me and the thought of continuing in the same system made me feel empty inside. So I left. I let it all go; the salary, the status, the constant striving for the next thing to tick off on the career list, and gave myself permission to take the time to create something radically different to help other women like me.

Now, I'm helping others like me who’ve also chosen a different path; as a child-free woman who may be putting their all into their career, starting their own business, or simply focusing on the ultimate work, life balance because YOLO. I'm helping them to prioritise their own ambitions, to reset the expectations and live their lives to their own standards of success. Women who are looking for other women like them, to feel supported, and respected for who they are, not who the world says they should be. Through community, guest experts, accessible tools and experiences, I want to help women to step out of survival mode and into a life that finally feels like theirs. Ambitiously Unapologetic is more than just a brand, it’s a reclamation.

A home for women who are ready to speak louder, take up space, and stop apologising for living life on their own terms. Together, we challenge outdated systems, celebrate bold decisions, and create a new definition of success. One that focuses on doing the things that you want to do.
